is the TB not a very "tall" booster?

It isn't the tallest, but I like it. The problem is the elite. I won't buy one. The base has extra padding, which booster the kid up more. Gives you less space.

It's got about 20-21" top belt guide height. Piper would probably still fit in one all the way up.

Wow!! I JUST moved my 6 y/o cousin up to the second-to-lowest click! She can still fit 4T shirts, though. And her TB isn't an Elite.

Umm, I don't think so, Wendy:eek:. I got 19 inches, and the database says 19.25. I know it is shorter than the nautilus in booster mode, and that usually if a kid has outgrown a regent, then they most likely will not fit a turbo with the back.

The Turbobooster isn't terribly tall, but most 5.5yos do fit with growing room. As PP suggested, the extra padding in the Elite shortens the usable space.

Oops, you're right, Jennifer. I'm going off of an old number tucked into the back of my mind.

it's not a tall booster, but that used to be as tall as you could get.

nowadays, it is one of many that qualify as "shorter"
