My freecycle find (aka...is anyone familiar with the Recaro Start?)
I just picked up a Recaro Start
It is actually in amazing condition, and from a neighborhood mom who's kids go to the same school as my dd. She said it was only used a handful of times, and has been in their laundry room ever since. It was just too much for them to switch around between cars.
It looks to be an older version, as it lacks the headwings... otherwise it looks identical to the current Start. But hey, they never expire...right?
I was looking online at the current Starts and it looks like the headrest may be built into the cover. Has anyone had the chance to play around with one and know whether that is the case or not?
If so, I may be able to get a new cover from Recaro, and it would be as good as new.
I wouldn't normally take a freecycle seat. But I do trust the previous owner, and when I saw the word "Recaro" in a post, my curiosity definitely got the better of me!
