my step son is almost 9 and has an Autism Diagnosis. Im having trouble getting him to use his booster properly..i had originally bought him a FR85 but he insisted on having the harness twisted under the hugs (he would unclip..twist..then reclip) so i gave up and put him in the PWSG...but he wont keep the shoulder belt in the guide..i have put it back a million times..got to my seat, looked over to check..and its out of the guide  he fits fine in the cleck olli back there im pretty sure..but his legs are way too long and he says it hurts..and a foot stool of pillows is not an option per my clean freak ocd husband...is my only option left a RSTV??? he might like that actually...

Have you worked with a therapist on getting him to sit properly?

If he likes the RSTV, and therefore uses it properly, it would surely be cheaper and easier than fighting to get a SN seat or booster with positioning harness covered.

I'd definitely look at a RSTV... it was actually developed with children with autism in mind. They tend to like the weight of it.
