What car?

I am hoping to get a new to us car in a few months. I want it to be safe, get good gas mileage, and have ac/heater vents to the back seats. I don't want to spend more than $12,000 and $10,000 or less would be better.

Any ideas?

Are you looking for a sedan, SUV, minivan...?

Probably will have to be sedan to get the gas mileage I am looking for, but any that style that works for what I want, I am open to.
