Snugride 35 handle placement -- position C not allowed on US models?

Is this true? It was mentioned yesterday and I've since confirmed that Canadian models do allow for Position C in the vehicle. But I'm curious to have this confirmed about US models? Is position C really not permitted for you guys? Is this common knowledge?

(for anyone wondering, position C on a SR35 would be right at the top of the seat, directly above the top of baby's head)

I thought it was allowed, and I've seen it allowed in our manuals, but the six or seven I randomly selected yesterday did not show it allowed.

Good to know it's allowed up north, since I don't think the seats are different, and I've been telling parents for years (since I checked the manual and saw that C was allowed) that it was ok.

Does it actually list C as a do not use position? Along with B. Just like it's listed in the SR22 manual?

Geez, maybe I should just hit up gracobaby.com, eh? :p

It says B and C, like in the SR22 manual.

I hit up gracobaby.com. I think I did the top four, then picked two others at random.

Wow, I did not know that! I assumed (haven't checked one yet) that it was the same as the 32 and SS1!
