And to me these ones look worse than the last ones! Boy in booster with headrest waaaaay to low, and a too-small boy on just the car seat with this contraption attached, sitting on his abdomen. There's no way I'd use the thing, looks like it would cause massive internal injuries in a crash the way it sits on him!

I was just coming to say the same thing.

Definitely not buying the "CPST" bit -- if he is certified he went to the class solely to use the title to sell more. Certainly didn't gain any knowledge from it.

And it's "RideTight" on FB. (adding that because I tried to search for the term, I know the product has been discussed, but got no results in the search). Hopefully this thread will show up now if someone searches it....

ooops, will change the title now (if i can work it out lol).
Adjusting the headrest is such a simple thing, I can't believe he got that wrong.

That's special. I think the abusive comments ("clown college") need to stop, though. That's just trolling. Saying something about misuse, sure, but maybe we can be polite about it?
I agree, if we want him to take us seriously we need to be mature about saying what he's done incorrectly :)

I agree. I just commented on one of the pictures saying the personal attacks are probably not necessary. I don't think we're making any kind of case for ourselves using an approach like that. He's unlikely to even give us the time of day if we speak to him like that.

your comments are great! I'd "like" them...but then I'd have to like Ride Tight and I don't want to do that. :p

I liked it just because I *HAD* to to like thier comments LOL...

I don't find a Brian Conaway in CO as a CPST on the Tech list :whistling:

I saw the pic with the Turbo booster and the low headrest, then when I clicked on it to make it larger, the pic changed to something different. And it now appears the too low headrest Turbo booster pic has been removed.

Ok question: If that thing is supposed to "twist out of the way on impact" wouldn't that mean it pulls the seatbelt with it... meaning the seatbelt is going to hit the child wrong??

I still don't see how this item is legal for use for states that specifically state that a child must be in a appropriate child restraint and/or booster seat....this product is neither

If he's claiming to be a CPST, can't the board or someone else check it out and pull his certification for creating and promoting this? I mean, that's pretty huge no-no.

His cert would be through safe kids right? Someone said they couldn't find it.

I was thinking he may just not have his info set as available to the public, so Safe Kids or the CPS Board could view it.
