Peg Perego all star green & black seat expired?

I stopped by a consignment store that I used to work at today. I've talked to the owners several times about NOT selling used seats. They're normally very good about making sure there are no recalls and they aren't expired, but I came across at least one today that's expired (Britax Chaperone 8/05) and I wasn't sure about the Peg seat I saw. It was green and black and said something about all star or something similar by bottom of the seat. Anyone know when this one was made?

The Britax was a Companion, not Chaperone.

And the Peg...it has a 5yr life span...I'm pretty sure the green/black one you are describing is from a few years ago, so probably not expired, though may be getting close. Was it this one?

I had one for the twins 4yrs ago.

Duh, yeah I meant the companion. The names are too similar.

Yep, that's the one. So it's most likely getting close. I'm thinking about emailing the store owners to let them know and wanted to make sure I covered my bases. Thanks!

There was a slightly older mint green seat than that one. It was one of the old 20# ones and had no SIP. HERE.

My ODS had it in Jan 2006, they stopped making them shortly after that, with a 5YO life they would be expired or expiring soon depending exactly when the last ones were made.

Come to think of it, I think even this mint green one was made in 2006. Not sure what colour green came after this if it was the same, or not, but w/ the 5yo lifespan of the seat, it'd still be expired or expiring soon...

It had SIP. Where do you find the DOM on the Peg's?

I had an Aria (stroller) that same color...I'm pretty sure it was '06 or '07.

I had the mint green, no SIP, 100% they started making the SIP in early 06. No idea how long they made them...

I'm sure the sticker was on the bottom somewhere, not that that helps that much. Know they had a 5yr lifespan...
