I am not sure if this is the correct forum in which to post this message so I apologise in advance if it needs moving to the articles forum or similar.
We have recently being going through the hundreds of old car magazines we have had stored away. The collection dates back to the 1960s. During the search, I have uncovered some very interesting (at least to me!!) articles from the early to mid 1980s that were published in the build up to, and months following, the passing of the UK’s first seatbelt usage and child restraint law in 1983. So far, I have scanned about 5 out of the many articles I have found (I will try and find the time to scan the others in the coming weeks). In addition to these articles, I also came across numerous advertisements for the baby seats, child seats, booster seats and other child restraints of the time. I have also scanned some of these adverts.
Under forum rules, am I allowed to post such articles/adverts?
Obviously I would provide full and proper references to authors and sources, however I do not wish to break any rules relating to the posting of media articles, news releases and advertisements. I would purely be posting them for historical reference and peoples’ general interest.
Thank you in advance for any guidance.
Gary.
