Question Seat dilemma -- WWYD?

I have a huge WWYD? question...My husband is in the Navy, and he is away at training. My 3 daughters and I traveled to visit family while he is gone and to attend my brother's wedding. I have more car seats than I know what to do with at my house in Maryland, but no spare seats with me due to space in the car. I brought a Combi Coccoro for my middle one who is 2.5 years old and 27 pounds. I'm not sure of her exact height, but she has apparently hit a growth spurt since we've been here, because she's now thisclose to outgrowing the Coccoro for RF by height. I have another seat for her in Maryland that will keep her RF for at least another year. If it comes down to it, would you turn her FF for a couple of weeks if necessary, or buy a bigger RF seat while we're here? I swore to my husband that I wouldn't buy any more car seats until the Clek Foonf is released, then I would get all the girls matching seats, and start selling off my stash... My head is hurting just thinking about it...

Is it *actually* outgrown? If so, then I'd probably buy a Scenera or similar to get her home RF. But, I'd eek out every last mm in the Coccoro first.

Here's a pic. Do you think it will last until the end of September?

She has tons of time left. I find the easiest way to tell, by far, is to take a ruler to your collection of board books. Find one that is one inch thick, and put it on top of your child's head, perpendicular to the shell. When the book is at the top of the shell, it's outgrown.

But to answer your original question, no I absolutely would not buy another seat to RF for a couple of weeks at 2.5yo after promising my DH that I wouldn't.

Exactly what she said on both points.
