Does it matter which state I take/get

my certification in?
There aren't any classes convenient to me here in NC when I am not working.
There are several in Yorktown, VA where my family lives which would work out with my work schedule.

Nope, doesn't matter.
My mom lives in SC and the class was more convienent for me there than here in NC too.
I'm also glad I went to stay with my mom for the week without the kids ( they stayed home with DH -it was during the summer).because there was so much info to learn. Everynight I was exhausted, no way I could have dealt with kids after class.

Great! Thank you!
My kiddo's would be staying home with dad as well. I am off in August but they are year round so they will be in school.
Off to talk to dh and hopefully make the call monday.

No, the certification is nation-wide, so it does not matter in which state you take the class. I am glad I took it locally though - it allowed me to get to know the Safekids Child Passenger Safety Team in my area and those are the people I work with all the time now. But, if the only way I could do it was out of state, I would go for it!

Right, it's a national certification -- but the course will cover local laws so you may want to get in touch with any other instructors for their state laws....

Thank you! Local info would be great.

The closest course I found is 2 and more hours away on the other side of NC.
I am excited that I may finally get certified. :D
