hi! i've been absent for a long time, but due to an accident (everyone OK!) we need to purchase all new seats! please help :)

i now have have two daughters (ages 2 and 4) who want to switch seat positions all the time, since i have recently turned the 2 year old FFing. (I ERF'ed her until after she was 2, and I ERF'ed my older DD until she was 3 because she was tiny. But DD#2 is a good size girl, and we were all ready for the ease of FFing, now that I have 4 DC's.) the girls are in the captain's chairs of my 2009 Toyota Sienna minivan, but they always want to switch back and forth. their body sizes are actually quite similar, and they are less than 10# different in weight.

I think at this point any good combo seat like the Nautilus would work great. i'm pretty sure i'd like a seat that can become a booster later. But the Nautilus has to be de-installed to move the harness straps, and i'd really love to have one that adjusted from the front without de-installation for the times when the girls switch seats, or when a friend or playdate needs to use the seat (which happens a lot.) i've had an EFTA in the past, and LOVED the harness system, but the EFTA isn't a Combo. I've now seen the Symphony, but don't know anything about it.

are there other combo seats out there with a no-rethread harness, front adjust? please share! thank you so much, ladies!

I think it can be adjusted from the front, right?

I know the Frontier has a no-rethread, but you have to uninstall it and adjust it from the back.

Yeah, the Frontier has to be uninstalled to adjust the harness and headrest.

Two other options are to set the harness to the taller girl and the smaller one will fit too (although not as well), or just tell them there's no more switching. Seems like a pain to adjust a seat all the time even if it is a front adjust or no-rethread harness.

I actually adjust the frontier without uninstalling. Loosen tether a little, kneel in seat, towards the front, reach hand behind seat and adjust.
