OMG!! I knew Marcus had had a growth spurt recently b/c he looked to only have about 1" of torso height left in his Gen65, but I did not realize just how much. The last time I measured his torso, it has probably been 2 maybe 3 months ago, he had a 14.25 inch torso. Well, I measured his torso today & man has he shot up. He now has a torso of 15.75 inches. YIKES! He went from right at 42 inches tall to 43.25 inches tall over all.
I also moved him from the 3rd slots on his Nautilus Elite & Maestro to the top slots on both. He still has a good 2 inches of room to grow in both seats, but man did he have a big growth spurt. We also finally managed to break 35-36lbs. We're sitting a hair over 38lbs, but I figure with the way he always does after a growth spurt, he will probably loose back down the 35-36lbs again. LOL. So, he is a tall skinny lil man! I need to take new car seat pics to share since it's been awhile.
Also meant to add that he will be 5 on October 7th of this year. DH wants to move him to a booster in his car at age 5, but I think I'm going to wait a little bit longer. He is still under 40lbs & I still don't feel he has the maturity to sit properly for more than a few minutes. He does fine for the 5-10 minutes that he rides with my MIL or rides with DH from my MIL's house, but I don't think he could sit still for longer rides. So I think we're going to keep him harnessed in DH's car till at least 5 1/2 & at least till 6 in my car.
