Are manufacturers following AAP/NHTSA recommendations yet?

Are there any manufacturers besides Britax (for the FR85) that has an age min for combo seats or for FF in general?

All Dorel seats require 34" to ff. It's not an age req, but you'll find very few 1yos that can ff if following the manual. My DS still cannot ff and DD was nearly 3 b4 she hit 34". I don't know of any other seats that have any rules beyond 1year and 20/22/23lbs (weight depends on seat).

None that have a weight that I know of. I've seen in Graco and Dorel manuals that they write that kids should rear face as long as possible, but the minimum age allowed is still one.

Sigh. I hope the manufacturers get on board with current recommendations. I'm dealing with a mom of a 1.5yr old who has a HOST of issues, who is currently FF in a Nauti because Graco says it's OK. I'm trying to be delicate in how I handle this...but man it's hard to not just say YOU CAN'T DO THAT....YOU ARE RISKING YOUR BABY'S LIFE.
