Question about the Peg Perego infant seat

I saw one in the nursery, but not close enough to play with it. It seems like the head pillow would push the head forward quite a bit. Does anyone know? I do know the kiddo passed the car seat test.

I don't think that it pushes the head forward. Biggest issue really with the Peg is that the crotch depth is really deep and it pretty much has to have a crotch roll used or else baby will slide forward and then you will have increased risk of airway problems.

Yeah, that. Our friends have one and brought their 36wkr home in it no problem. The only issue I have personally is that it installs way upright.

I have had parents have issues with it pushing the head forward, even when installed at the maximum "allowed." (I think those angle indicators are frequently wrong to the point of, like, dangerous.) Even when using a cloth at the crotch to keep baby from slumping.
