Seating Positions in 1999 Ford Windstar

Hi,

I'm starting a new nanny position on Tuesday. Excited about it! Anyway, will need to figure out seating positions for the van. It's an 1999 Ford Windstar with 2 capt chairs and a full bench in the back. I will switch the capt chairs to another full bench soon so think about 6 seating style.

Middle is lapbelt only... no headrests. Outboard has them. All positions has top tethers :D

Kids stats:

7, 60lb
6, 39lb
4, 31lb
22 mos, roughly 25lb
Newbie- will be due in Sept

The 4 year old and 22 months old will be RF... no exceptions. It's a rule in my van that you have to be RF until at least 4 and 40 lbs and that little boy (4) is tiny!

The 6 year old will most likely be harnessed in my van.

The 7 year old will be boostered unless he isn't mature then I will have to find a harnessed seat for him but I think he will be fine.

Was planning to use:

7 year old- Graco TB
6 year old- Britax Frontier85 or Nautilus
4 year old- For now (True Fit) and I plan on buying a Radian80SL or even a MaxiCosi Pria...because I can try it out on the newbie when he comes in Sept!
22 months old- Marathon
Newbie (due in Sept)- haven't decided on infant carrier or convertible... depending on where in the van.

Any inputs?

Thanks! :D

I'm sure you'll get more help from the others here....

But let me just say, I loved loading RF from the hatch in my old windstar.

Yes! I love it as well... Normally I stick RF kids in the back which probably will be still doing....

That should make life easy, then! 22mos and 4yo on the back bench and the 6 & 7yos in Capt chairs. Long-term, you can probably do a RN center with a MA outboard and then ??? space on the other side for the newbie. At that point, you might want to move one of the bigs to the other side of the 3rd row (booster?) and put the newbie in a bucket in the other capt chair.

Congrats on the new job! Have fun :)
