Re: SKJP has a new name, new seats

Oooh can't wait to see what they come out with.

I wonder if the name change has anything to do with all the bad press associated with SK and Radian SL?

That was my first thought...or maybe the bad CS was with the thought of "who cares, we won't be SKJP anymore soon anyway..."

I'm trying not to be so jaded, I really want to love the Radians, DH won't let me buy a MT.

Wow! How awesome! Strange name, but we'll be used to it soon. I'm curious about Price.

I wonder if long belt path will be permitted now. The red guides for booster mode .. I assume a reinforced shell along that area... yadda yadda.

good question.

Although, when I saw you were the last poster I thought for sure you'd be asking if it will make it to Canada. ;)

I can not be the only person here who is thinking "Dinoco"...? right? Cars? Anyone? :ROTFLMAO:

I thought this too.

I don't like it personally. Nice idea but I'm not sold. I do like the new infant insert though.

Carseatblog just posted "KIM Update: New combo seat and booster coming from Diono (formerly known as Sunshine Kids Juvenile Products)" on their FB page.

New combo seat and booster as in the new seat that is all of that (the seats in the pic that was posted) or is that just the combo seat and a new booster (that is just a booster) is coming too?

Re: SKJP has a new name, new seats

think they'll be compatible with older models?

I don't see any place to plug a cup holder in, even if I did cut a hole in the cover.

lol, they know us well. So it's based on the Radian? Does it still rf (is it a 3 in 1), or just a combo?

Sorry, it is a 3-in1, based on the Radian XT. The other model without adjustable head restraint is the R100. More at Carseatblog later!

When will this be released? I'm excited about this. It could be a birth to backless booster seat.

Ooo... love it! If it does all the things I want:

RF to 40 to 45 lbs
FF to 65 lbs
Great booster unlike the Dorels (including weight and height)
Toddler boot for the older ones

I'm buying several for my car! I have always loved Radians :duck: I have not had any problems and am planning to buy another one soon for the 4 year old in my van.

Excited about this! Diono? Interesting...
