Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. I wasn't expecting to see new seats on this trip.

First impressions? How do you feel about the low and high harness positions on these seats? :)

Looks like a field trip to BRU is in order.

Well darn...I was right next door to BRU yesterday when I went to Michaels. I knew I should have gone inside!

Is the EasyFit the BRU version of the XRS from Target? From what I can tell it looks the same...uglier, but the same.

None of those harnesses are going to get a kid to 65 lbs except in rare cases. The Easy Fit looks the same as the new Eddie Bauer seat from Target but is cheaper. It's nice and narrow so it will fill a need for sure but it will be outgrown by many kids before they're ready for a booster. I really need a newborn sized doll and a tape measure for these kinds of trips.

Do they all have the silly 45 degree RFing angle requirement, do they use the 1" rule and are any/all coming to Canada?

Oooh! I keep forgetting I have a BRU where I live now. I may have to take a trip with DS2 tomorrow.

They have the level line and typical Dorel restrictions such as no RF after 40" and must be 34" to FF. I would check with Dorel about the angle, I would guess that they are going to give the same information that they did with the CA.

Yes, it's a different name for the same seat (different covers, obviously). Several of the new Dorel seats have two names, one for BRU and another for everywhere else. Rumi Air/Essential Air, EasyFit 65/XRS 65, I think there were a couple others.

Good to know they haven't come to their senses yet. Apparently renaming the exact same seat for a different store is working, because Graco is following suit...

I guess I'm the only one who actually liked the XRS 65/Easy Fit 65? It seems so nice and narrow and the top harness slots look pretty high. I need a measuring tape for next time I go to Target.

I kind of like the aquos. Very curious as to the top slot measurements.

If they came out with a girly pattern, I would be tempted.

And I was actually pretty impressed with the alpha omega one. Arly and I put DD in it back when we went and she fit great. I prefer seats with deep sides, but I would consider this one for DH's car or the grandparent's car.

What are the minimum weight limits? Are any of them higher than newborn weights because their lowest slots are typically ten inches?

Typed with fat fingers on a tiny touchscreen keyboard, please excuse typos and autocorrects...

I went to brus today, I didn't see any of them yet. I saw the pria70 at bbb. I really just don't care for Dorel at all and now they a bizzillion seats.
