What I liked most about it was that the label CLEARLY said on the display, "40 pounds rear facing, 65 pounds forward facing, 100 pounds as a booster." No more of that 5-100 pounds crap.

you know what, I'm glad to see more seats going to higher rf limits and higher ff limits... I don't like this one as a booster and wish they'd give up putting the guides on it and just realize it shouldn't be used as one... but hey, people buy this seat, so I'm still glad to see improvements with regards to harness capabilities.

and for a little cheaper, i can actually see recommending this to people who would normally be looking at the Complete air... it's the same basic seat, just no air pillows.

I saw it a BRU a couple of days ago. I wasn't overly impressed. I still have big issues with this seat being marketed as "the only seat you will ever need".

I don't know how they get away with it. With a 6 year expiration the only way this could be true in CA to meet the bare minimums it would have to A) fit a newborn, and B)have a DOM of the day the baby was born somehow....

I'm pretty sure the AOE has an 8 year expiration.

The Pria, on the other hand, really will fit tiny babies as well as larger children. It only has a 6 year expiration right now, but they're "working on getting a longer 7 or 8 year expiration" (but only for future production models).

The 3 in 1s traditionally have eight year expirations.

I've never had one, just dealt with SIL's...and she buys used:thumbsdown:so I never know how old they are when she gets them. I generally try to avoid them like plague. I've also never had one come through a seat check that was in usable condition, so I've always replaced them. Good to know though.
