I called Britax about a new cover but they were $80, so I am washing mine according to the label. It took 18 steps to remove. 18!!! LOL. I ordered a new memory foam part for $10. Britax even waived shipping!
I didn't have a spare seat specifically for the baby (b/c I never imagined him being without his seat). Luckily I had 3 convertibles to choose from in the basement. I went with the Advocate b/c I didn't need to fool with a pool noodle, and the latch was an easy install. I chose not to RF tether. My 4-month-old loved it; was all smiles.
Sticking him in the Joovy Caboose stroller without his infant seat...now THAT was interesting and he totally does not fit right in there.
But we picked up brother from camp and my Chaperone cover is drying in the sun!
