Do you use a locking clip to prevent tipping?

So the latch on A's radian ended up loosening so I switched to seat belt, with the seat belt instal the seat tips slightly (not really enough to be problem, just enough to annoy me be because it doesn't look right).
So, do you use a locking clip instead of locking the seat belt (shoulder belt causing the tipping) to keep your seat from tipping?

Realized I should add that I mean using a locking clip instead of locking the seat belt (not doing both).

Not for a slight tip, no. For something like a Snugride base, yes.

For a slight tip, I'm not going to bother. If it's pulling up significantly I will, as long as it's compatible (in some cars, locking clips just don't work well.)

A little tip that seems stable (as in putting the child in and out doesn't increase the tilt) isn't worth using a locking clip, but a big tilt or one that increases over time or with use, I'd definitely use one. It annoys me to see seats tilted.

There's nothing wrong with using a LC to prevent the tip if it's annoying you, as long as you use the LC correctly. There's also nothing wrong with installing tightly with the LC to prevent tipping and then also switching the retractor to eliminate the strangulation hazard.

Yes, I do, because my radian sits closer to the door for three across and tips. Also makes reinstalling a breeze!

Typed with fat fingers on a tiny touchscreen keyboard, please excuse typos and autocorrects...

Currently using one with my RN :). Works like a charm to stop the tipping and it really does make putting it back in easier. The seat belt is already where it needs to be so you just put it back through, push down and buckle.

I also lock the retractor to keep E's feet out of the belt and driving me crazy.
