Would this DOM bother you?

Hi! My new CCO came today. I love it! Except the DOM is 7/10. Over a year old. I don't know if there is anything I can do about it (doubt it) but I am kinda peeved. I didn't buy it on sale or anything.

I would be mad if I had paid full price. Where did you buy?

For a full-price seat, I'd expect to get to use it for it's full life. If you had gotten a clearance seat or a great deal, it wouldn't bother me much. I'd call.

Diapers.com I paid $200 and change. Only reason I'm hesitant to do anything is I'm almost 37 weeks pregnant. I can't really wait to send it out and have a new one sent back. Maybe I'll call Combi anyway and see if they can do anything.

It's worth a call, at least. You should definitely let the website know. Could you borrow a seat from a friend in the meantime, if baby does come before they send you a new one?

I don't know if there's much you can do. My understanding is that CCOs are getting hard to come by as they prepare for the redesign. If you want one at all, you just deal with the DOM. Just be glad it isn't 02/09 or something. ;)

It would only bother me if I planned on using it for another child after, since most kids outgrow it by about 3 I wouldnt be overly concerned unless I was going to use it for multiple kids.
