I just put my VERY petite 5 1/2 YO in her sisters MA70 (she wanted to try it out for awhile) and she has NO growing room at all. The straps are AT her shoulders. She's only about 40 pounds and 41 inches tall and she's ALL legs.
I'm pretty disappointed, although it's not the reason I purchased the seat (I needed a RFing seat), and I realized this is probably why people move their kids into boosters sooner, rather than later. My peanutty 5 YO is the size of a 4 YO and if we didn't have the Radian, I'm not entirely sure she would still be harnessed...(although I'd probably purchase a FN85, but it doesn't really fit in my car 3 across)
