Baby Trend just left this comment on my wall post...

Thank you for your concerns. We'd like to get more information about this. May I ask which Target stores that you're aware of that have TrendZ display units without chest clips?

So if you wouldn't mind either leaving you city and state her or if you would rather and PM me, I will relay it to them. Or you could just post to there wall on FB also.

I do not see a place on their FB where there are comments on the Trendz seats so I will let you forward it to them in your response. All 3 of my local Targets have the seat without the chest clip. They are Oswego, IL, Naperville, IL and Plainfield, IL.

When I first looked at the FB page too, all I could see was what Baby Trend was posting. But if you click "most recent", it'll show what's from others too.

I commented to mention that I think it'd be better to not have the chest clip... and that it's just one more part of a seat that is easy to misuse... and with the closely spaced harness straps, the seat doesn't need one for precrash placement.

On this seat there really isn't a way to misuse the chest clip. Maybe not use it at all, but if your argument that it's unnecessary is true, then there's no loss there.

Wouldn't it being too high be misuse? I've seen some pics and we had the problem when we tried it of it being too high.

I just sat E in it at Target yesterday. Had the chest clip and it was practically at her throat. I had a dead phone though so I couldn't get a pic. If I get a chance to hit one again soon, I'll make sure to get one.

So yeah, I'm not liking the chest clip at all.
