How can I post a picture?

I will like to make an update of my original post with a picture but I don't know how? Any help?

I upload my picture to my personal photobucket account. When I click on a photo, I often see several link options (http, e-mail, img, etc). I copy that IMG or Image link and paste it directly into my post here. It should have the [IMG ] [/IMG ] type text on each side of the picture link.

If you can't get the IMG code to work, click the Insert Image icon (little yellow box with a mountain in it). A prompt will come up asking for the html link to the image. That will put the img links around the link for you.

You will need to make sure that the picture is in a public folder so that it is visible to all of us. If you have it private, we won't be able to view the picture.

can't do it, don't find the place to edit my profile, when i click the yellow box it ask for i url and i don't know how to find it

Did you upload the picture to a photobucket account? If so, you should be able to get the URL from there if you click on the picture you want to post in photobucket.

Another option for you if you just want to post a small picture is to attach the photo directly to the post. You are more limited with this option though as you are only allowed room to post smaller file sized pictures. You are also limited to the total number of pictures in your profile. To do this though, click on the paperclip icon when you reply or edit your post. It should ask you "Upload File from your Computer" path. Once done, it should attach the picture directly to your post.

I did the photobucket account but when I put the URL in the yellow box the picture doesn't appear

You had grabbed the html code and pasted that in the img tags. I edited it for you so it works now. You want to do the img tag, then just the picture location, then the /img tag.

So:
[ img]http:// www.pictureishere.com/picture1.jpg[/ img] (but no spaces)
