The one going around youtube and also found on CPSafety.com?
Anyway. I always refer people to that site and that video as a means of stressing how important RFing is. Today on another board I put it out there, and someone commented that in the crash test showing the rearfacing dummy, it appears as if the dummy's head is strapped to the carseat.
And although I had never noticed that, I went and watched it again and looked, and it does indeed seem that they have the dummy's head strapped to the back of the carseat, there's a white strap that seems to be going from the dummy's mouth across the face and head and attaching to the back of the carseat.
Now I know that regardless of that, RFing is safer, but the person who commented was a bit discontent that perhaps we weren't really seeing the true extent of a crash test, that perhaps they were trying to make it look like there is less head and neck movement than there really would be, and I have to agree....while there is no question that it is safer, is that video misleading as to how MUCH safer it is, in your opinion?
Has anyone else noticed this? What are your thoughts?
