There is a fairly large article about the Texas crash (in which the parents died) in my paper today. They are rehabbing near where I live.
It's great how much outpouring of help there is for the 2 boys paralyzed from the waist down. (And the girl who broke two limbs).
But there is NO mention of how and if any of the 3 kids were restrained. Does anyone know?
And since tons of people will read this article could the paper have at least MENTIONED restraints? I see this as a missed opportunity to save another life.
(Maybe they were properly restrained and it was THAT bad. Or maybe the boys were simply in seat belts.) I don't know.
