I would if I thought it would make any difference. Flame wars like that are generally not fertile ground for educating anyone. Even if they were telling the truth in the first place, it isn't likely they would take the word of a safety advocate over anyone else's :-(

Unfortunately, the only explanation that will work is one from a police officer, or an emergency room surgeon...
