Can't decide which infant seat - will be 3 across in Sienna

New baby girl due in Oct (baby #9)

presently have dd, will be 4 in Nov, FF in MA (summer 08 - is that a "classic") or FF in Blvd (also summer 08). Wish she hadn't hit 35 lbs so soon, or she'd still be RF.

Also have ds 6.5 in either britax hbb (summer 08 - can't remember the model, shame on me!) or graco turbo hbb.

And/or dd9 in graco lbb - she will probably be the one riding next to baby, if I can fit the seats in the right way.

My primary vehicle for "around town" is an '04 Sienna 8 pass. so it has the center of the second row that can slide far forward.

My other vehicle is presently a 12 passenger Ford E-350 with bench seats and no latch - running out of shoulder belts, but plenty of lap belts for installs of infant or convertible seats. Basically, I'm pretty sure whatever I can get to fit into the small van won't be an problem in the big van.

I'm considering the First Years Lamaze Via, Britax Chaperone, Chicco Keyfit and maybe the Cybex Aton (love that it comes in purple!)

Also, any input on if these seats work with stroller bases like the snap-n-go?

I'm so out of practice! :)

3 across the sienna second row is incredibly easy. Buy whichever infant seat you like best. If your britax booster is the parkway with no arm rests, I'd put that in the second row. Since the buckle is way down on the side of the captain's chair, the boosters with arm rests are difficult to buckle. Maybe your kids don't have issues like mine, though. You could just try them out in their boosters and find what they can buckle easiest.

Parkway - that's it! Thanks! When he's in the 2nd row now, next to the FF MA, he's having trouble reaching the buckle. Sometimes he can, sometimes he can't.

I can't decide which seat I like! LOL I don't do well at making decisions when there are lots of choices. :D

I have a lot less room than you so I chose the Aton (we have purple )

they don't make a snap n go for it but you can use it as a travel system with any of the Cybex strollers (Callisto/Onyx/Ruby) or you can use it with any stroller that has Maxi Cosi adapters- like my Baby Jogger City Select :)

I'm thinking about getting the Onyx too for traveling and for when I don't have my other kids with me and don't need the double stroller.

they are coming out with a snap n go for the KeyFit though! I'm not a huge fan of the Chaperone because the whole thing including the base is SO huge, it wouldn't fit in my car at all, too much overhang. the Lamaze Via looks super nice, I wish they had prettier colors

The more I read about the Chaperone the more it seems big and bulky and not what I'm after.

What about the Britax be-safe? Just saw that on the diapers.com britax sale - hadn't seen anything about that one before, but it is closer to my budget, especially at 25% off!
