Moving to a booster in Newfoundland and Labrador? (moved from Newfoundland & Labrador Booster Seat Legislation)

Just wondering...our daughter is close to the 40lb mark but is not 40 inches tall. We were going to go booster seat shopping but do we have to wait until she reaches the 40" mark as well as the 40lb mark??

:yeahthat: The age and maturity level of the child is a huge factor in the decision to move to a booster seat as the child becomes responsible for remaining in the correct position at all times as you drive. Younger children are too impulsive, do not always follow directions and may slump out of the seatbelt when they fall asleep.

What seat is she currently in and how does she fit? Are looking to replace her seat with a booster (and what are the reasons - passing down seat or ??) or are you looking for a spare seat for car pools or occasional vehicle?
