...in the center postion FF for a one time 2 hour drive which seat would you use? RN80SL, RA55, or MR65?

I would think a radian. Its narrow so it wouldn't interfer with the driver as much. Sits closer to the seat back (more out of reach of airbags, which aren't supposed to extend to the center position) and the flat, no base bottom will fit better the hump of the seat.

RN if the drive is right after breakfast. If it's nap time, I'd totally go with the RA55. But that's IMO.

Hmm, hadn't even considered that. lol. We've never used either FF so I didn't even put head slump into the equation and I would say that it's very likely that he will fall asleep.

My girls have fallen asleep FF in Radians and never had head slump. It would depend how upright it was though.

Having seen crash test footage from Britax showing that the new seats (with the SafeCell) were under the HE limits for tethered use WITHOUT the tether, I'd be as comfortable with the RA55 as with the Radian, if not more (because of the head slump issue.)
