I have time, but am indecisive and trying to sort through my mind, which of course is just more confusing. So... I have the tario35 which I love for the most part. Other than it's heavy, very large, and bulky, I adore it. With Tucker, I started with a kf30 and didn't love it as much as I wanted to, then tried a shuttle33, liked it but again didn't love it. Now, here I go again  I had originally planned on using the t35 for pumpkin, but then the Aton came out and I'm so lusting one of those. Then the thread about the via, and that looks interesting as well. I like the look of the sr30 too.

I need to fit 3 across our '07 Milan. Austin is in a fr85, Tucker is currently in a MR or CCO, but will switch back to the blvd70 when it gets cooler. I can fit the t35 outboard with A in the center, but it does take up a lot of space when it's reclined as much as it needs to be for a newb. I've thought about putting baby in center, but then having to lift the t35 over the fr85 just doesn't sound appealing. So what would you do? Just use the seat I already have, or get something new? IF new, what?

Can you comfortably drive with the T35 behind the driver? Can your DH? If not, I would try the Aton out to see if that remedies the problem. I don't think the SR30 would be any better because the base is just as long and the shell isn't much shorter.

If baby is center could you load the bucket between the front seats?

I would try your 3across out with the newborn recline and Tuckers Blvd. If it all works well then keep the Tario if it doesn't, then look into something else.

How long do you think you will be using the bucket for? If you don't plan on using it long I would just keep what you have.

FWIW, I drive a Ford Fusion and dd2 has been in the middle since birth. She started out in a Chaperone but I didn't car for it so she moved to a CCO at 4 months old. It is a pain putting her in the middle, in the bucket or not but if my older two are together they fight and that is even worse. It has gotten better now that dd2 is almost 2 and climbs into her seat on her own and I just need to buckle her.

thanks for the input

I'm sorry you didn't get answers, but it was the middle of the night for many of us.

I also find it difficult to give answers to questions like this. I feel competent advising on seats that might work for certain kids in certain vehicles. But you already know that the seats fit.

My personal priorities are not to buy new seats when I have seats that already work. I'd rather deal with a bit of inconvenience than spend money and then have to deal with an extra seat (storing, selling, etc.). Obviously, other people feel differently -- some people LIKE collecting and buying and selling seats. Without knowing where on the spectrum you fall, we can't give useful and relevant advice.

Play with different seats and combos that you have. If it's too difficult to use what you have, try something new.

I had my baby in a kf in the middle and reached over an original parkway in snap it in it's base for 13 months, never really bothered me, but I had a van. It's much harder to reach the middle in my Yukon and I'm not loving the high base, deep sided, seats in there. I'm too short. Not sure what a Milan is, but type of car would affect my choice as well.

Do you use your infant bucket to carry a lot? I mean more than just to/from the house? If so i could see how having a heavier infant seat would bother me..... BUT if you don't intend to lug baby around on your arm in the seat then the heavier weight wouldn't be an issue....

I totally loved the look of the Aton, but it seems sort of odd looking with a baby in it. When the reviews hit and they put children IN it, i was like hmmmm, maybe it's not as cool as i thought. But i still would LOVE to play with one!

If money isn't really an issue (eg maybe losing $50 or $75 bucks won't rock your world) i would personally keep trying to sell the tario35 with the red cover, but keep the blue. Buy the aton from some place like amazon with 365 day returns. Try it for a week or two, see how you REALLY feel about it in action. If you love it, great, keep it. If you hate it, send it back, and buy another red tario (and you'll already have the awesome blue cover to go with!) :D

I'm one of those people who can't stop buying new seats so...you know what my opinion is already :p

IF my Snugride had worked for my 3 across in any way possible I would have used it, but it was just not happening. I did like the seat a lot. And it's nice that you can use a Snap n' Go if you keep baby in the seat a lot! I didn't babywear very much until it was more feasible to use the Ergo when my son was a couple months old, I tried a couple different wraps/slings when he was a newborn and it hurt my back really bad. I hold my babies plenty but I do like the convenience of the infant seat when we're out and about!
