Snugride 22 discontinued?

It's not, is it?

My tech friend had a mom tell her today that she heard the SR22 is being discontinued. I don't remember hearing anything about that...unless the SR30 is taking its place?

I've not heard anything. But if it is, once they all expire it would sure be nice to not have just that one seat that can't use the same replacement base...

Yep! They don't even sell the funky base the 30 comes with separately, they instead made it compatible with the 35 base (which has the sweet lockoff.)

Didn't they say in the webinar not too long ago that they had no plans of discontinuing it because it sells well or something like that?

I would have trouble imagining it - it sells super well with the stroller and is the combo that most moms in my area have.

I purposefully bought the 22 lb version last time...and liked it. I would be surprised if they did!

I would LOVE if they discontinued to rear-adjust ones. The front ones are nice and can be convienient, especially if you know you only use them for a short time, need a small seat or have babies that stay little for a long time.

I had a front adjust but I watched my friend's baby and she had a rear adjust one...OMG it was horrible! they should definitely do away with those because people will just misuse them and have the straps loose all the time.

We had a rear adjust with Joel and the WORST seat I've ever had. I cringe when I see parents with them, they are such a pain in the butt. Especially considering most babies grow really fast so they do need adjusted quite a bit.
