Hi! Thought I would just throw out an introduction since I asked a question a few days ago. My name is Beth. Full time special education teacher. I have 4 kids....3 girls and a boy. (see siggy!). I have learned tons over the years about car seat safety. I will admit that I had my now 13 (almost 14) year old daughter ff at age 10 MONTHS in my little nissan in the FRONT! Yup. that is where she rode. Yikes. 
Been to many car seat checks in the last few years. Learned tons there too. I am really thinking about becoming a car seat tech if I could just find a class in western washington. So far the only one offered is in eastern washington. Cant go that far. After watching Kyles U-tube video I promptly went out and bought my 5 (6 on june 29) year old a britax decath and took her out of the booster that she was not sitting in very well (leaning, goofing around). She was upset at first but after watching the video with me agreed to sit in it and now is happy as a clam! She has about 1.5 inches to go before she is level with the top slots. She is a small one! I hope to get her a regent eventually as well. Still learning how to use these boards. Not used to this style but am enjoying reading and learning!
