they leave tomorrow

and I still cant decide, do I put Fiona in the vivo or a harnessed untethered seat?

they are making a 3 hr drive to Story land with my parents, my mom is sitting back there with the girls for the ride.. which makes me more comfortable with the booster if Fiona falls asleep. it is a toyota avalon I was going to install a nautilus or radian for her but now I am considering the booster

She rides perfectly 100 percent of the time BUT I have yet to see her fall asleep in her booster and I know there is a good chance she could on the way to story land or back. HELP!!!!

Go with the vivo. My kids have fallen asleep in it lots of times and they stay in place. It's a very supportive seat.

Safety wise, there is absolutely no difference between an untethered harnessed seat and a booster. A tethered seat is safer than either option, but an untethered seat is an untethered seat, whether it uses a harness or a seatbelt to do the restraining.

it's the vivo... she'll sleep super comfy in it... but the Radian does so well performance-wise in numbers without the tether... I'd ask her what she wants... the Radian or the Vivo.

why am I nervous about it? I know she is just as safe, she is 39 lbs, 43 inches, and 5.5 and sits perfectly.. though on long rides in a harness she sits criss cross apple sauce, but not in her booster and my mom said that for the long ride if she did forget she was back there to remind her. so It is fine right?

Which one does Fiona want to ride in? Since either would be just as safe and your mom will be back there with her, just let her choose :)

yea she choose the vivo, so we are going that route. I hope my mom can fit with two vivos lol.. I am bringing along the harmony low back booster I have for Julianna Just in case.

vivos are pretty narrow... and since Fiona chose it, that should mean she'll be happier on the trip.

if you have a shoulderbelt in the middle, I'd put one of the girls in the middle... grandma should have slightly more room if she can sit outboard.
