Way to keep grandparents from undoing car seat everytime they undo their seat?

Just curious if any one had tips on keeping a belt installed seat buckled in when people with bad vision are undoing buckles in close proximity. Would putting a tube sock over it help? We can't do latch with the center install and would rather not install outboard due to front seat too
. Thanks!

I use a baby sock with the toes cut off. Alternatively, putting the prickly side of a piece of adhesvive backed velcro over the buckle release button on the belt holding the seat in would work.

I generally give the female buckle a half twist. That places the release button between the seatbelt webbing and the carseat, protecting it.

This is what I did with DS's seat after MIL unbuckled it once and DH drove home with DS's seat unsecured.

I may just try all of those- some belt stalks don't twist, as they don't in our Explorers. I'd go heavy on prickly velcro and the tube sock over it as well!
