I didn't see it in the manual but can you just remove the body pillows (you know the one in the headrest)? DD says it's uncomfortable.

Pretty sure, yes. Only the higher trim ones even have pillows.

I guess asking is the safest way to be sure. However, I generally figure if the manual doesn't say anything one way or the other its probably not required. For example, my chase came with a cupholder. The manual states how to attach it but it doesn't specifically mandate or not mandate its use. I just figured it was optional and never used it.
