Well it says it is safe and sturdy for seat and passenger..

I don't know that I would put my child in the car seat on a regular luggage rack. Apparently this one is tested to be safely used that way?

yes i would buy this just for the fact that it would be like a stroller for a big kid through the airport...especially if I was tackling a big airport like atlanta

My first thought was "$80 for a luggage cart?"...but I did spend around that for my Go Go Kidz Travelmate. This one does have some nice features over the Travelmate, like the latch attachment and the fact that the seat doesn't touch the ground. And it has a Britax logo, so it must be superior, right? :D

If I needed to transport my kid in the seat I'd make/buy a Traveling Toddler.

I will say that they posted some photos on Facebook and the seat does fit on it perfectly. Like it's made for it, LOL. I personally wouldn't pay more than $30 for it...but I also don't like traveling with Britaxes.

I'll give them that it seems to fit the base better. Don't know that it's an $50 improvement.

my luggage cart is rated to like 300 lbs. I'm not worried about my toddler and a carseat.

I would not put my kids in a regular luggage rack in their seats that was not meant to be used that way.. Call me conventional like that.. lol.

which isn't meant to be used like what? a cart to transport things much heavier than 50 lbs through airports? The cart won't break. The kid is in the seat, which is strapped to the cart. The cart won't hurt the seat. I truly fail to see the issue, and I'm as conventional as they come.

it does look a lot like a luggage cart lol but I am with PPs I am not comfortable using an actual luggage cart and what I do LOVE is that fact that it is much higher off the ground than the gogo wheels. I "liked" it!! lol

Crunchy, didn't you worry about using a cart without the Britax Bubble? Or did the bubble from the seat transfer to the luggage cart?

As long as the seat were securely attached, I wouldn't have a problem letting my kid ride in it. I've never tried, though, so I'm not sure how well it would work. But if Crunchy did it, I trust that it was secure.

I just would not use anything to transport my child that was not meant to be used to transport children. To me things that are made for children to ride in have been planned to be used that way. Something for my luggage.. not so much..

I don't care about the Britax bubble, If it was graco cart that would be fine too if it said it was okay to use with a child in the seat.

It really is no different than any other luggage cart except it has little bars for the LATCH connectors and a fancy shmancy Britax logo. You can achieve the same result with a regular luggage cart that is rated to carry the weight of child+seat. Last time we traveled I used a *gasp* steel ring in place of a Traveling Toddler to secure a Scenera to one of our carry on bags. I didn't end up putting DS in there because he was a little freaked out by the people and the noise and he wanted to be worn. I would not have hesitated to put him in the seat though. It does not have to be crash worthy, it's not going in a vehicle like that, it's just getting you from point A to point B while you're WALKING.

And I'm sure the testing is them uh, using it. Same way you could test a luggage cart. It's the same thing. I mean, it's a little thing with wheels like 3 inches off the ground that's meant to carry around heavy stuff. Works for me. My only thing is I'd be worried with my kid behind me being that low to the ground because their head is right at the level of people's shoulder bags and I'd be afraid he'd get beaned in the face by someone. But that isn't related to the cart. And I'd push my kid in a wheelbarrow even though that isn't "tested" with children. And let him swing in a tire swing even though that isn't meant for children either. I just don't feel like worrying about things like that. I'd get ulcers.

A wheelbarrow would be really hard to get onto the baggage scanner, though.

How about something like this?
