Frontier or Nautilus for South West Flight?

I have the above two car seats for my 4.5 year old. We will need the seat at our destination, so I think I will bring it for her on the plane vs. checking it and risking loosing / damaging it.

Does anyone know which seat is a better fit? I worry about the arm rests on the GN being too wide.

Thanks!!!

OR should I buy a Cosco Scenera for the trip? DD is 36 pounds, but for $40, maybe it's worth it?

I'd be shocked if a 4.5 year old's shoulders are under the top slot of the Scenera.

If you're open for buying a travel seat, I'd either look into the Ride Safer Travel Vest or an Evenflo Maestro.

It's never a good idea to check a carseat, so glad you're going to bring one on board.

I'm going to move this to the appropriate forum.

the nautilus installs just fine. really easy infact. you'll have to leave the armrest up between you and the seat but the arm rest on the nauti is convenient ;)

the tray table infront of the nauti will be useless but the built in cup holder and cubby holes come in handy again.

my biggest struggle with the nauti is how heavy and awkward it is to carry so having a luggage cart or a stroller to strap it to is nice

tip: if you take a light weight umbrella type stroller, lower the headrest all the way down, flip the nauti upside down and use the latch straps to secure it around the stroller... it wont go anywhere and you can get through the airport.
