Structural difference between RN's?

I know the difference in the RN's is weight (65 vs 80) and or whether it's an SL or not but that's not what I'm asking. What I'm asking is the structural difference. What makes one rated to 65 and the other to 80? Is one seat bigger than the other? Is one seat more reinforced then the other? I have an 80SL and will be acquiring a 65SL shortly so I can't visually compare them myself yet, but I was just wondering. What's the difference? Will I be able to swap covers between the two? Anyone know?

There is no outside difference. You can swap covers. They use a different steel alloy to get the different weight limit. Once the covers are off, you won't be able to tell the difference between the seats except for the stickers. If your seats start losing stickers, you'll need to get replacement stickers or label which is which with a Sharpie or something, so you don't lose track of which is which.

I remember when it was just the 65 vs. 80, everyone said not to bother with the 80 b/c the top slots were the same - the seat was the same, supposedly, so paying extra for the 80 was said to be not worth it. The covers, I think, are the same for 65 versus 80, but the covers on the XTSL are different than the SLs because of the headwings.

Is there a difference between the RF limits or are they the same? If the 80 is 45RF then the extra money might be worth it.

The 80SL and XTSL are 45 RF, 80 FF. The difference is the headwings.
The 65SL is 40 RF, 65 FF.
