He didn't even notice it was a different car seat!

I had to go to exercise class tonight which left dh with the kids and he needed to get dd to soccer practice. When we were all back home for the night I asked dh how he liked the new car seat. He gave me a dumb founded look. I said you did take the boys with you when you took Taylor to soccer right? He said yes. I said you did buckle Gavin in his car seat right? He said yes. I said you didn't notice anything different? He said no, not really. I just had to laugh, are you kidding me!? He's had an original MA with a crimson cover on it in his truck for well over a year now for the most part and I switched it out for an RN80 with a Shadow cover. How could he not notice this?:scratcheshead:

Kind of like my DH. He has yet to notice when I get a new car seat. I went from a TFP to an Allison MA70 and later Cowmoo, and he never noticed. He still hasn't noticed the new RN which he buckled Zain in the other day and he didn't say anything when he saw the new purple BJMCD in the back of my car!

:yeahthat: with DH. I have/had so many different seats. He did see my Shadow XTSL when I was rearranging seats last week and asked if that was new. All I said was "no?"

Yep, totally. I have been selling seats a lot lately. He keeps telling me to keep what I need. Well, I NEED 6 seats. Why? There is a member here that is due in September and Gabe and I are on the emergency call list. We will be watching 3 boys while mom and dad go to the hospital. Gotta have car seats, in both vehicles, right?

Wait--was it at his eye level? My 6'5" dh doesn't see things unless they're right at *his* eye level. Sigh. How many times do I have to say, "bend down!"

My dh actually said to me a couple of weeks ago that he couldn't take my dd anywhere because she didn't have a booster in his car. I pointed out to him that we literally have a wall of backless boosters right next to his car and he said he doesn't see them anymore because there are so many all over the house :ROTFLMAO:.

When ds3's MA70 came last Thursday, DH didn't notice either. He helped him climb up into his seat all weekend without a word. On Monday night he tripped over the box in the garage that I forgot to "hide" in the attic and that is when he flipped out about another car seat. I just tell him that atleast my obsession is for the safety of our kids and his is just a collection of Nascar crap that takes up the whole living room. He can't really argue with that.
