Baby depot had the fisher price booster seats marked down to $40 when I was there yesterday, I didn't check the manufacture date though:( Do ya'll think this is a good deal, if it is I'll swing back through when I go to indy this weekend.

Only if you need a really narrow seat for like 3-across. It's not great on the side impact protection front, so I'd avoid using it unless I really had a tight spot. I guess they are on massive clearance....

I bought one for each car, and one for a friend or may end up returning it if she changes her mind. So would you say a highback cosco, graco turbo booster, or the fp booster is better? I was thinking the fp because of the special foam.

I picked one up specifically so that my DS can use it in our Escape if we need to do a 3 across situation anytime soon...his Evenflo Big Kid is just too wide to work, and he's getting too tall for the Futura (gosh freakin' darn it all).

I figured it was only $40...which is half off...

The Turbo has the same foam... the Cosco I'd never use... The Turbo might even be sturdier in a side impact, but I'm basing that on just a visual. Are you asking just because those are all cheap choices? I'd way rather recommend a Parkway on sale for $90, it's got side impact protection and is still even easier to buckle than the FP (I have one of each, next to each other, the PW is easier to buckle, lol).

I have two fisher price boosters. I use them in three across situations where I could not fit anything else. They work really, really well for that.
