Looking for pics of older baby in Snugride 30

Does anyone have photos of a larger/older baby in the Graco Snugride 30? Specifically, perhaps photos of a child whose head is about 1-4" from the top of the shell?
The seat narrows at the top and I'm wondering how it works for older babies with head sizes above the 50% percentile (approx).

Well crud. Maybe PM her? I was amazed that the kiddo fit so well. I never liked how narrow the top of that seat looked.

Hey! Happened upon this thread. Sorry, I got bored & reorganized my PB albums a few nights back! Here are the pics & I will redo them on the other thread too.

Elliot is 19-20lbs & just hit 30in. He is 23mo. I measured 2.5in to the top of the shell. He fits well because he has a slim build. I bought this seat for use in my home daycare but may use it if we fly next month. Sorry,I keep resizing the pics but they are still showing up huge.

Where you see the purple knife (toddler) sticking out, that's the top (useless) slot!

Probably because his head would be above the shell with the top slot.

If a child had no neck, then maybe there would be a purpose for it. I think I will put some padding under his bum & take a pic of it used on the top slot. His head would definitely be less than an inch from the shell. He has 2.5in clearance right now & is even with the 2nd to top slots. There's probably 2in between the slots,so....... they are there to look pretty and useful apparently. I can see a lot of misuse with the way they did it.

Thank you for posting! That's very helpful. I looked at that top slot the other day and wondered what child would ever be able to use that. Maybe one with no neck and no forehead?
It looks like his head fits well at the top. Thanks!!!
