Youtube Child falling

Shocking video,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OoLaDfFlCE

When you watch this video, please remember that the child appears to fall from the lap of the passenger in the front seat of the car when the door opens! In spite of the stupidity of the adult passenger and driver in allowing a child to sit in the front seat of the car, the child appears to survive -- this time.

I think this was discussed recently...? There was alot of debate about whether or not the adult who got the child was driving or if there was another adult in the car. If you search, you can probably find all of the comments. Awful incident, isn't it?

That child was SO close to getting run over.

I was driving down the freeway about 6 months ago. Eleanor's friend was in his Marathon in my car (age 3). He OPENED the door. I had never thought to put on the child locks because there is no way my daughter would dream of playing with the door (she unrolled the window once, and it freaked her out).

I had to get OFF the freeway, engage the child locks and close the doors.

I really made a mistake by not having my child locks engaged, but I really had NO idea that a kid would open the car door while the car was moving!

yeah, that video was discussed quite a bit. it appears to be perhaps somewhere in the middle east or indonesia. overall, they don't have nearly the same attitude toward CPS as in more westernized countries.
