Differences between the Onboard 35 and the Onboard 35 Air?

I'm still debating on which car seat to get for our newest edition. I was leaning toward the Onboard 35, but recently with the sales on Amazon there isn't much price difference between the Onboard 35 and the Onboard 35 Air. For the colors I'm considering its literally like a $1. So I was just wondering if the Onboard Air had some more features compared to the basic model.

The only differences I can see in these seats is the air inserts. Are there any other differences?

What about the SE version? Any extra features?

The air has the premium base with lock offs.

I need to look under the cover of the regular OB35, but the head area is *hard*, I wouldn't really want that surrounding my sweet baby's head. The Air one has a lot more cush.
And given this latest thing on head injury in babies... I think it's rather important, if it at least has EPP, it's probably ok, http://www.safetyresearch.net/2011/...-rear-facing-infant-seat-safety-improvements/
In addition to the base lockoffs, the Air (at least in BRU) has preemie pads while the regular one has padding only for bigger newborns.

According to their website the Onboard 35 has the premium base with lock offs as well. (The Walmart and target versions do not though)
