Adventure Playsets Wooden Swing Sets Recalled by Adventure Playsets due to Fall Hazard. Sold at: Academy Sports (the Yukon); Mills and Menards (the Ventura/II) all from 2005 to 2007; Mills (the Belmont) in 2004; Toys-R-Us (the Bellevue/II); and Walmart (the Tacoma/II, Durango/II, and Sedona). The units sold for $300-$600.

Cost Plus Inc. Recalls Wooden Animal Drum Due to Violation of Lead Paint Standard. Sold at: Cost Plus World Market stores nationwide from December 2010 through May 2011 for about $7.

Hamilton Beach Recalls Hamilton Beach® classic chrome 2-slice toasters Due to Fire Hazard. Sold at: Mass merchandisers and department, grocery and home center stores nationwide and various online retailers from February 2008 through June 2011 for between $30 and $40.

Topson Downs of California Recalls Women's Dresses Due to Violation of Federal Flammability Standard. Sold exclusively at: Impulse Department of Macy's stores nationwide and on macys.com from March 2011 through May 2011 for about $60.

Springs, Idaho-Evergreen Fresh Sprouts, LLC announced a voluntary recall of Alfalfa Sprouts and Spicy Sprouts because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The recalled Alfalfa Sprouts and Spicy Sprouts were distributed in Washington and Idaho by direct delivery to four distributors and three retail stores. The recalled products are coded with Expiration Dates from 06 22 through 07 14.

McNeil Consumer Healthcare, Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc., is recalling at the retail level one product lot (60,912 bottles) of TYLENOL®, Extra Strength Caplets, 225 count bottles, distributed in the U.S. The recalled product was manufactured in February, 2009. McNeil is taking this action following a small number of odor reports, including musty, moldy odor.

Qualitest Pharmaceuticals today issued a voluntary nationwide retail level recall of Butalbital, Acetaminophen, and Caffeine Tablets USP, 50mg/325mg/40mg, and Hydrocodone Bitartrate and Acetaminophen Tablets, USP 7.5mg/500mg. This recall was initiated because an individual bottle of Butalbital, Acetaminophen, and Caffeine Tablets USP, 50mg/325mg/40mg, 500 count was found incorrectly labeled with a Hydrocodone Bitartrate and Acetaminophen Tablets, USP 7.5mg/500mg, 1000 count label, printed with Lot Number C0590909B. Lots C0390909A, C0400909A, C0410909A used the same stock inventory of labels as Lot C0590909B and are potentially impacted. These lots were distributed between November 13, 2009 and April 9, 2010 to wholesale and retail pharmacies nationwide (including Puerto Rico).

International Vitamin Corporation Recalls Live Better Vitamins Due to Failure to Meet Child-Resistant Closure Requirement.
Sold at: A& P Liquor, A&P, Pathmark, Waldbaum’s, The Food Emporium, Super Fresh and Food Basics grocery stores in CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, MA, VA and the District of Columbia between June 2009 and October 2010 for about $8.

Nestlé Purina PetCare Company (NPPC) is voluntarily recalling approximately 870 bags of dry cat food (Cat Chow Naturals Dry Cat Food, Friskies Grillers Blend Dry Cat Food). This is being done as a precautionary measure, as the product has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The bags of dry cat food in this recall were distributed in error in February, 2011 to a small number of customers in Colorado, Idaho and Oregon, which may have further distributed the product to other Western states.
