measure the box from the floor up to the top of the tallest side (that's length), then at the bottom part of the L in the box measure from back to front, then front side to opposite side. Finally measure all the way around the box at the biggest section (so the L). If you go to the usps website you can put it in as an irregular box with those dimensions.

FYI I was charged $20 to send a CALX in a fr85 box from bellevue to idaho.
