What I Saw Yesterday

Yesterday afternoon I was driving and saw a teeny tiny 2-person car. A man and woman were in the front. As I passed them I could see an infant seat squished behind the 2 front seats turned sideways with the handle up.

I really, really hope they were just transporting the seat and did not have a child in it!

:( I suppose it's possible it was empty, but probably more likely that the baby was screaming, or hungry, and they had it there so mom could tend to whatever need... :(

It was a 2-seater car. I only can HOPE that there was no baby - but then, the seat would more likely have been in the trunk, right ?

So - yeah, I imagine they thought that since there was no other seat, that shoving the poor child between the adults was "the best they could do".

Oh my.

Let us hope they were just transporting the EMPTY seat for someone. Let us hope that they couldn't put it in the trunk because the trunk was full. Let's hope. :(

what doesn't sound right to me is that they could fit an infant seat behind them at all... no tiny two seaters have more than a few inches of space behind the front seats... if an infant seat could be squished between or behind the front seats, even sideways. i think more likely it was a small 4-seater sports car.
