PWSG vs Monterey plus symphony pictures

I tried my kids out in some seats and thought I'd better post. I find that the parkway sg gets a better lap belt fit when backless for my kids. My older two fit in the monterey well, but due to seating depth, the younger ones slouch. Yeah, I have short kids...

This kid is the only one that fits well in the high back. It's in a different car, but after this photo, I took her to the van where the lap belt fit the same.

I love how easy the symphony is to install and adjust! It loses height while installed, though. As a booster, it uses a ton of seatbelt and is difficult to buckle due to sitting way up high.

17.5 inch torso (he's a tad too tall for the harness) The headrest is all the way up. For booster mode the harness gets buckled behind the seat. I wasn't going to all that trouble, so he's harnessed and buckled for the photo.

My little person, who insisted on being buckled in big sister's seat for the entire photo shoot.

Hmmm...from the front, the Symphony looks like it routes a decent lap/shoulder belt. But from the side, I just can't make myself like all the "extra space" there is for the lap belt to route up, around, and over. It just doesn't look snug...or "secure". It looks like it'd be more likely to bump up on impact. Atleast with armrests, they help keep the lap belt positioned.
