An old friend of mine messaged me on FB tonight asking what car seats I use for the kiddos. I told her, and then she started telling me that she got a CA today, but that she didn't really want a convertible. I asked her why not, and if she was planning on RF. (Her DD just turned 1 last week.) She said that no, she wanted to FF her.
Now this girl loves to research things- I guess she just hadn't gotten around to car seats yet. So I told her that RF was tons safer, that I still have 3 y/o DD RF, and sent her this video to watch.

She came back and said she was crying, and that she'd be leaving her DD rear-facing. She was going to keep her in the bucket seat, but I told her to go ahead and get a convertible, and that her DD would be a lot more comfortable. She's going to go out tomorrow and get a My Ride.
It was so great talking to someone who was just open to information and wanting to keep their child as safe as possible. Like buttah.
