Good video for men that won't wear a seatbelt

Not sure if this has been posted around here... probably has since its 1.5 years old according to youtube :)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-8PBx7isoM&feature=player_embedded

The gist of it... man pretending to drive while wife and little girl wearing angel wings watch. Man looks ahead and expression changes to fear and pretends to swerve. Wife and girl get up and go to him. Girl locks arms around his waist; wife locks arms around his chest forming a seatbelt made of their arms. His body flies forward, held by them and a table of glittery stuff representing glass goes flying. He is saved by them.

It's been posted before, but it's still a great video. It makes me cry every time I see it! I won't even talk about it IRL - the one time I tried to tell someone about it I started crying just talking about it.

Thank you for sharing..hadn't seen this one yet! Hubby wears his seatbelt but is really bad about when he puts it on and takes it off. He takes it off as soon as we hit the neighborhood and doesn't put it on until the car starts beeping at him :(

My DH too. I'm just glad that he wears it at all- he didn't until I wouldn't stop nagging him about it. Now if I could just get him to stop texting...

Here's a link to an eye opening Car and Driver comparison test showing that texting while driving is even more hazardous than drunk driving:

I love that video. It gives me chills. Dh thinks it's creepy. Eye roll. But thankfully he always wears his seat belt, so he doesn't need extra convincing.

I personally think that is cool, but most men I know would not be swayed by it. Luckily, the ones I love all wear their seatbelts and understand why!

If they had to be convinced, one of those blood and guts seatbelt commercials would have more of an effect on them!

The gentle one may have some influence IF it came on TV and they saw it spontanteously, but not if I sat them down and said "Here, watch this."

My new date didn't put his seat belt on last night. Probably a bit too soon to show him a video like that but when I told him he really should wear it he put it on. When he left to go home I told him I'd like to see him again so please wear your seat belt!
